Renegade Reporting: LA Business Today on CityView 35

Stephen Seidel from Renegade Reporting interviewed Co-hosts of LA Business Today. Bob and Sharon Jimenez have over 50 years of television hosting experience and can be seen every Monday on CityView 35 programming in Los Angeles. 



Bob Jimenez was the first Latino correspondent at NBC Nightly News in the 70's and has a total of 11 Emmy Nominations. Sharon Jimenez is the president of Icon Imaging PR, producer on 'Gerrymandering', Chairman of Bring Hollywood Home, as well as previous campaign manager for Dennis Kucinich. Stephen had the unique opportunity to visit CityView 35 Studios in Downtown Los Angeles last week during a live taping.

Renegade Reporting on IMDB, Gotta Hand it To You, Gus Van Sant Opening

Renegade Reporting finally on IMDB. It's about time, got a production credit for producing festival bound short film, May Mercy Lie, in addition to being hired for two films by Sarah Mohen to Renegade Report during her openings.


In addition, Renegade Reporting's Stephen Seidel is featured in Anne Marie's Fox's Photography Blog, as well as her 'Gotta Hand it to You' Blog.



In addition, Renegade Reporting's Stephen Seidel recently attended a gallery exhibit showcasing Gus Van Sant's water color paintings, with Oscar host, James Franco. Stephen spoke with Gus in lengths about the similarities between his feature length film starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck and Stephen's short film, May Mercy Lie.

Renegade Reporting Hosts TriggLa.Tv's 'Film Nutz' Podcast

Renegade Reporting's Stephen Seidel and Chad Hugghins are now co-hosting Trigger Street Production's TriggLa Tv's new podcast, Film Nutz.

They review a classic indie or studio film, as well as a recent online short sensation. The show is peppered with Skype interviews, Celebrity Riders (Green Room Requests), Facebook Shout-outs, and many more quirky quips. Andy McCallie is on board to help Produce.

Renegade Reporting: Across the World

Renegade Reporting was on hand for a reading via Skype featuring people from Australia, LA, NY and Charlotte of a Martin McDonough play, "Behanding in Spokane".

This was part of Skype Theater Project.

Renegade Reporting: Moderator- SET Series

The moment I stepped in the door at the LA Convention Center, it was clear that the masterminds behind SET Series Sustainability in LA Conference meant business, on many levels. Recycling bins scattered the interior, information was fed electronically, while the speakers not only believed in the cause, but also showed companies and attendees how to both save money and drive profits.

Renegade Reporting was offered the unique opportunity to moderate the January SET Series Conference.  At first, I questioned my credibility, but quickly remembered my history and love for both science and ecology. Some of my science projects in high school consisted of making recycled paper, determining what natural product effectively removed oil spills, and what organic substance successfully repelled Drosophila melanogaster, aka fruit flies. I remember my Mom flipping out because every day I'd accidentally let 'a few' flies escape. After a few minutes of childhood reflection, I came to the conclusion that I've always been a tree hugger of sorts. Strangely enough, ever since Katrina, it seems that green conscious companies and sustainable organizations are now a permanent fixture within society. So I guess it's safe to say, we all hug trees now, and I love it.
The conference focused on Sustainability in LA. Architects from local firms described recent green building and LEED efforts, while surrounding city areas spoke towards their individual accomplishments such as energy smart grids, ice bear for holding ice for cooling, and many new developments in cleantech technology.

The overall experience was extremely rewarding, and I look forward to the next Conference on February  8th on Sustainability in Education.
