RR: Stephen Seidel IMDB Fresh Face, May Mercy Lie Review

Renegade Reporting's (@RenegadeRptg) host Stephen Seidel (@StephenSeidel) is currently featured as one of 21 actors, as IMDB's Fresh Face, an esteemed honor in the entertainment community.

May Mercy Lie, the short film produced by Seidel's Renegade Reporting, as well as Aaron Courseault's F Filmz, recently was reviewed by world renowned Emmy broadcaster and documentarian, Bob Jimenez, for Latino Weekly Review. View Link Here. As quoted by Jimenez, "Producer/Writer Stephen Seidel not only walks us into this moral cobweb, he plays the injured man with nerve tugging reality. His eyes are open one minute and closed the next: Seidel's metaphor for seeing either light or darkness."

Jimenez goes on to say, "May Mercy Lie is unmistakable in what it asks: Is mercy killing necessary and moral? Cleverly, Seidel don't answer us, choosing to end his short film in two ways. The audience makes its own choice, one that Seidel, by film's end, convinces us may not be simply circumstantial."

Renegade Reporting: Jordi Vilasuso on All My Children Finale

Renegade Reporting's (@RenegadeRptg)  with Stephen Seidel (@StephenSeidel) reported live from City 35 Programming's LA Business Today with Jordi Vilasuso on the ending of All of My Children, and the beginning of a new era.

Jordi is a daytime Emmy award winning actor (Guiding Light), who returned to All My Children as Griffin Castillo. His return, was cut off short by the ending of an era, All My Children ended after 40 years on September 23rd. Stephen Seidel was there the day he shot to capture his feelings. In addition, the industry is changing, with twitter, fan interaction, and the internet. Shows are being developed with story lines that will appease both the viewers, but also allow for fans to have say in the outcome.

If the fans want something bad enough, the producers will most likely listen.... Hint Hint Hint Hint. Jordi still has a few years left on contract, so let's get AMC, streaming online so you can watch WHAT you want, WHEN you want it. Renegade Reporting: Huff Post (You Made A Difference, Weird News)

Renegade Reporting's (@RenegadeRptg)  with Stephen Seidel (@StephenSeidel) was featured twice in the past month on the Huffington Post.

The first was a man on the street interview with Cain Motter about his Credit Card Artistry. That premiered in the HuffPost's Weird News Section, and highlighted the video we made for him.
In addition, a video I created was featured on Huff Post for the You Made a Difference Campaign, started by close friend, Leslie Needleman and Scott Janssen, which thanks teachers for their diligent work within the educational process. My video was for my AP Calculus H.S. teacher, Mr. Perry, who not only studied with Jaime Escalante, an inner city LA teacher whom the movie 'Stand and Deliver' documented, but also instructed me about lifelong investing. In addition, Jerry Penacoli and many inspirational journalists have joined. Make a video for your favorite teacher too! View Article.

Renegade Reporting: Manny Perez at Maya Indie Film Series with 'Forged'

Renegade Reporting's (@RenegadeRptg)  with Stephen Seidel (@StephenSeidel) reported live from Hollywood's Sunset 5 for Maya Indie Film Series Screening of William Wedig's 'Forged', starring and produced by Manny Perez.

Wiliam Wedig's film, 'Forged', won for best film at the HBO Presents, 2010 New York International Latino Film Festival. Wedig has worked with Manny Perez in the past, such as a recent film distributed on DVD, 'La Soga', directed by Wedig's close friend, Josh Crook. Renegade Reporting's Stephen Seidel, had the opportunity to work as an actor with Wedig, on his directorial debut film, 'Rise of the Dead', available on Netflix and online from Lions Gate Entertainment. Forged is also on Facebook.

Stephen visited the screening at the Laemmle Sunset 5 to interview Manny Perez. This dark, gritty and compelling film was shot in Scranton, PA, where the blue-collar backdrop leads nicely to the overall tone. Emmy nominated actress, Margo Martindale, as seen on 'Justified', gives a raw and organically empathetic portrayal of an abused mother in need. Manny Perez's character, Chuco, never ceases to amaze me with his ability expose himeself, even in his most intimate and gut wrenching moments. In addition, David Castro, who plays Chuco's son Machito, is also extremely engaging to watch, exuding an element of magnetic stillness.

Stephen Seidel's Renegade Reporting red carpet rendezvous hit the nail on the head once again. Stephen's reporting style, as quoted by ID Imaging PR's Sharon Jimenez delivers, "Real questions for real people, but always leaves us wanting more." Simply Delicious by Cheryl cupcakes glazed the red carpet to make the night, twice as nice, with some pretty neat sweets. Sorry Mom, but these cupcakes took the cake, and made my mouth melt in a barrage of July 4th fireworks.

The founder of the 1st Annual Movieville Film Festival, Alan J. Bailey, gave Renegade an indepth look at what it takes to succeed as a filmmaker. Also, Mad Men's Emmy award winning Sound Mixer, Peter Bentley, shared the sounds that most affect his life, as well as his take on Jon Hamm. Lastly, Stephen Seidel's edutainment style, combines laughter with love, to discover how the local Sarasota community will rival that of LA or NY, with such attributes as the largest green screen in the US, courtesy of Sanborn Studios.
